BiblioNum is a sequence number for the bibliographic record autogenerated by the database. It is of little meaning to a user.

SQUIB is an idenfier autogenerated by the bibliographic database of the form [YEAR] [AUTHOR1(1:3)] / [AUTHOR2(1:3)] [PAGEBEG] - [PAGEEND].
Note: Users are not able to edit this field.

Authors is list of authors in semicolon-delimited formated of the form "Herzler, J.; Manion, J.A.; Tsang, W.;". In the full display mode, clicking on the author will pull up all other records by the author in the database.
Note: When in edit mode, authors must be entered in this form (LAST_NAME, INITIALS;) in order for authors input string to be parsed correctly.

Journal/Book is the name of the journal (abbreviated) and title of book
Note 1: Journal names are entered in abbreviated format, e.g. "J. Phys. Chem.". When in edit mode, using a standard abbreviation will provide uniformity. If unsure about abbreviation, check database for similar record.
Note 2: Enter book information in a form like Kinetic Methods in Energetics of Organic Free Radicals [eds. Martinho Simoes, J.A.; Greenberg, A.; Liebman, J.F.] (London: Blackie Academic and Professional). This will allow the book field to be parsed correctly.

Source is the journal article or book chapter in the format "Journal Volume, PageBeg - PageEnd (Year)

Volume is the volume of a journal article.

Pages are the beginning and end pages of the journal article (or book or chapters in a book). Note: Try to give both pages, but if not, please provide at least a beginning page so that SQUIB identifier is generated correctly.

Year is just the year.

Title is the title of the journal article or book chapter or report.

Keywords is a list of keywords to categorize the work. In full display mode, clicking on a keyword will pull up all other bibliographic records with the same keyword. Many of the bibliographic records have been tagged with keywords. However, many have not. Hit or miss. Providing keywords helps in finding similar articles.

Notes is a text field allowing users to enter any notes about this particular article. Could be even working notes such as "need to photocopy".

Status is a internal database field providing status of the bibliographic record. It is of little use to the user.

Sort toggles allow sorting of the bibliographic results in different ways.

Models is a list of models with this bibliographic record as the source. Clicking on the Model Identifier will pull up information about the model.

Links is a list of links with this bibliographic reference. Currently, only two links exist:

a link to a bibliographic record in the NIST Chemical Kinetics Database and

a link to all reactions in THIS database (Models Database) with this particular reference SQUIB Note: Unfortunately, there is no way to know a priori (without a lot of effort) whether or not the particular SQUIB exists in the linked-to database (also last page number is sometimes not given). So if clicking on link comes up empty, that means particular reference is probably not in the linked-to database.
