Comments:   NCO radical was generated by the reaction of CH with NO, where CH was produced by the photolysis of CHBr3 at 266 nm. An YAG pumped dye laser was used to electronically excite the NCO at 438.6 nm and the decays of the resulting LIF signal were followed in real time to determine the kinetics.

The reaction mechanism is thought to be H abstraction.
