Author(s):   Frederickson, L.B.; Andersen, S.T.; Nielsen, O.J.
Title:   Rate coefficients for reactions of OH radicals with CH3D, CH2D2, CHD3, and CD4
Journal:   Int. J. Chem. Kinet.
Volume:   51
Page(s):   390 - 394
Year:   2019
Reference type:   Journal article
Squib:   2019FRE/AND390-394

Reaction:   CH2D2 + ·OH → Products
Reaction order:   2
Temperature:   296 K
Pressure:  0.93 bar
Rate expression:   4.11x10-15 [±7.4x10-16 cm3/molecule s]
Category:  Experiment
Data type:   Relative value normalized by a reference value
Pressure dependence:   None reported
Experimental procedure:   Static or low flow - Data taken vs time
Excitation technique:   Direct photolysis
Time resolution:   By end product analysis
Analytical technique:   Fourier transform (FTIR)
Comments:   1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane and methane were used as reference compounds. Uncertainties include two standard deviations of the linear least squares analysis, a 5% uncertainty range associated with the FTIR analysis, as well as error propagation of the uncertainties of reference rate coefficients. The final quoted uncertainty encompasses the extremes of the individual determinations.
