Comments:   Reaction potential energy surface was studied using quantum chemistry and product channels were analyzed. No rate constant values were calculated. In the experimental part of the study, laser flash photolysis with TOF mass spectrometry utilizing a tunable synchrotron VUV radiation were used. Signals of chlorine adduct, C5H8O2Cl, as well as secondary products asigned to abstraction channels were detected.
