Comments:   Fe atoms were produced by the photodissociation of Fe(C5H5)2 [ferrocene] at 248 nm. Rate constants were determined by following LIF decay rates of the atom in the presence of the substrate. The structure of the product was tentatively assigned on the basis of density functional theory calculations.

Reaction rate was pressure dependent. See Table for rate data. Results were extrapolated to the low pressure limit. Uncertainties are 2 standard deviations (2 sigma).
