Comments:   The ratio of rate constants is 0.96 (+0.35 / -0.25). Indicated errors ar two standard deviations. 4-Hydroxybutanal and 3-hydroxypropanal were sampled using solid-phase microextraction (SPME). The value is lower limit because of the possibility of second-generation formation of 3-hydroxypropanal from OH + 4-hydroxybutanal.
