Comments:   The reaction dynamics of ground-state atomic oxygen with the ethyl radical in the gas phase was investigated using high-resolution laser spectroscopy in a crossed-beam configuration. Oxygen atoms were obtained via photolysis of nitrogen dioxide. Ethyl radicals were generated by flash pyrolysis of the azoethane precursor. The nascent internal distributions of OH products were examined using laser induced fluorescence.
